Silvia Gopalakrishnan, Composition Recital

Silvia Gopalakrishnan is a senior pursuing a music education degree at the University of Connecticut. She is studying flue with Naomi Senzer and has played in various ensembles at UConn including the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Lab. As a composer her works have been commissioned for the new musical, "Oh Fair Maiden" the Valley Regional High School Concert Band, the Deep River Junior fife line, and others. Her recital will feature a fife and drum ensemble, a woodwind trio, and more.
